A new generation of Blues Music
Described repeatedly as an outstanding new talent to hit the music
scene, Bluezone have been gaining recognition and accolades at
lightning speed since the release of their first album "The Sweetest
and Most Perfect Things". An individual style of funky rock
blues with raw emotion and meaningful lyrics is bringing blues music
to a new level that is proving incredibly popular with all ages, and
bringing high praise from the music industry itself.
Playing with legendary Australian Blues names such as Kevin Borich,
Phil Emmanuel, Phil Manning and Mal Eastick, this band has astounded
audiences repeatedly not only with incredible musical talent, but
with the unique ability to convey the true emotion of their music,
something the blues genre at it's grass roots is historically renowned
for and not many are able to master.
Their recent accomplishment as winners in three of the categories of
the Australian Blues Music "Chain" Awards is testimony to their
combined passion and abilities. These Awards are recognised as
the industry's most prestigious honour and are presented each year to
recognise excellence in Blues Music in Australia.
Also winning three Bluestar Awards for best Australasian Male Vocal,
and Best Australiasian Instrumentalists (keyboards and drums), booked
in to big name Blues Festivals such as Broadbeach and East Coast Blues
& Roots Festivals, Bluezone's popularity is now reaching
international attention from Europe, USA and Taiwan.
