
The final battle came down to the top 4 and what a finale it was with the following bands locked into the final battle of this overwhelmingly successful event.
Good for NothingGood for Nothing took to the stage and played to a packed Halekalani Auditorium and the huge crowd was as excited as the band. Good For Nothing really set the level with a great set of punk rock songs and they had the dance floor packed to capacity. The band was tight and the vocals were great. The club was overflowing with the bistro filled and the bar 6 deep This was to become the best night the Halekalani had seen in many many years. |

VitusNext on stage were Vitus, and again these talented guys showed why they had made it into the grand final. Their original music was superb and they are great musicians. Without a doubt Vitus will make it in the music industry with their brand and style of music. |

The Summer Fling grabbed the crowd from the moment they plugged in their instruments. This talented bunch of young musicians really put on a show and every song they performed showcased what they are capable of. The band features an awesome young bass player and excellent drummer. Their professionalism was highlighted by their attention to detail, like the way they ran their songs together and the three girls dressed to kill! The dance floor was jammed packed and the crowd returned the enthusiasm this band displayed with a deafening roar. These guys virtually stole the show with a commanding performance.
We Are GraceWe are Grace brought this amazing battle to an end with their fantastic blend of harmonies and tasteful music. The vocalist was superb and the band was tight. These guys are another band that have a great future in the music industry ahead of them. |

As with any competition there can only be one winner on the night. However the judges have been so impressed with this years entrants that a Wildcard night was set for four bands who didn't win their heat but who the judges felt deserved a second performance..

This was a hard one for the judges, with outstanding performances from Days Unknown and 3 Stripe Ave leaving only a few points difference between the top three!
With the last minute withdrawal of Peer Pressure from the first Semi-Final, the competition organisers were left with a dilema - the other bands on the night had an unfair advantage over the competitors for this second Semi-Final. It was decided to pick two winners from this night to go through to the final...
